Guide Cam lets you overlay a chosen image on the camera screen as a semi-transparent guide. Overlay the last frame of your previous shot, and you can easily capture footage that lines up perfectly for seamless transitions.

Q. How do I choose the overlay image?

Tap the photo icon at the top left of the screen to pick an image from your photo library. Use the slider at the bottom to adjust its transparency.

Q. Can I change the position or size of the overlay?

Yes. After choosing an image, tap the four-way arrow button to enter adjust mode. Drag to move the image and pinch to resize it.

Q. Where are my photos and videos saved?

They are saved to the Photos app (camera roll) on your iPhone. Nothing is ever sent to an external server.

Q. I got a new iPhone. Can I transfer my purchase?

Yes. Tap "Restore Purchases" on the purchase screen to restore purchases made with the same Apple Account.

Q. Do I need an internet connection?

No connection is needed to shoot. A connection is used only when you make an in-app purchase, for Apple's payment processing.
